Jeff Jones, MD

Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He has provided quality care in private practice for pain management for over 16 years, restoring significant level of function, independence, and restoring quality of life to his patients. Dr. Jones interventional pain management treatments include facet injections, radiofrequency ablations, epidurals, sacroiliac joint injections, specialized nerve blocks, and RSD/CRP treatments. He offers the most comprehensive treatment options currently available including advanced pain therapies such as spinal cord stimulators, implantable pain pumps, and regenerative medicine. In addition, he also provides treatment for opioid dependence with Buprenorphine. While he takes satisfaction in providing the most current updated treatment options to his patience, he does enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, backpacking, windsurfing and skiing and his leisure time.


 

Jiensup Kim, MD

JienSup Kim, M.D. is ABPMR Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He graduated from Southwestern Adventist University with honors in Biology followed by graduating with a Master of Arts in Biology at Texas Christian University. Dr. Kim completed his medical training at Loma Linda University School of Medicine followed by a one-year internship at the University of Virginia Health and Science Center. He completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Loma Linda University where he was distinguished with the Pride in Service Award. Following residency, he completed a one-year fellowship in interventional pain management. Dr. Kim served as both an attending physician and clinical professor at Loma Linda University educating his peers and future medical providers in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He remains a visiting clinical professor at Loma Linda University to this day Dr. Kim’s interests include neuropathic pain, back and neck pain, joint pain, headaches, fibromyalgia pain, abdominal pain, non-surgical management and rehabilitation of orthopedic issues and industrial injuries, and general debility. He is an expert in interventional pain techniques such as radiofrequency ablation, epidural steroid injections, selective nerve blocks, Botox administration, neuromodulation, and joint injections. Dr. Kim is available to see new patients immediately.


 

Matthew Johnson, DO

Dr. Matthew Johnson is a ABPMR Board Certified Physiatrist and Interventional Pain Management Specialist. He is originally from Missouri and graduated from the University of Missouri- Columbia with honors in Biology. Dr. Johnson completed his medical training at Western University in Southern California followed by a one year internship at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach. He completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of California-Irvine where he served as the Chief Resident during his final year. Following residency he completed a one year fellowship in interventional pain management. Dr. Johnson’s interests include neuropathic pain, back and neck pain, joint pain, headaches, fibromyalgia pain, abdominal pain, non-surgical management and rehabilitation of orthopedic issues and industrial injuries, and general debility. He also performs Electrodiagnostic Studies (nerve conduction studies and electromyography) to diagnose nerve problems. He is an expert in interventional pain techniques such as radiofrequency ablation, epidural steroid injections, selective nerve blocks, Botox administration, neuromodulation, and joint injections. Dr. Johnson is a Qualified Medical Examiner for the State of California Worker's Compensation system and is an expert in matters of disability and function. Dr. Johnson is available to see new patients immediately.


 

Sean Moore, MD

Originally a Bay Area native, Dr. Moore left California to obtain a BA from Princeton University and an MD from the Tulane School of Medicine, where he also completed his Psychiatry Residency, and served as Chief Resident. He then completed a fellowship in Anesthesia Pain Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle. He subsequently has worked for both the Department of Defense and the Department of Veteran Affairs.

Dr. Moore is currently triple board certified in Psychiatry, Pain Medicine, and Addiction Medicine. In his military service he has been deployed to the Middle East and continues to serve in the Army Reserves. He is grateful to live in the great city of San Francisco close to friends and family.


 

William R. Campbell, DO

Dr. Campbell is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon treating Worker’s Compensation and Private Health Insurance patients in the Bay Area since 2007.  Treatment offices include, San Francisco, Oakland, and Sacramento. With thousands of cases worth of experience, Dr. Campbell brings a well-honed skill set to those patients in need of surgical treatment for their shoulder, knee and general Orthopedic injuries.  However, every patient is different, and many times good results can be obtained without heavy medication, aggressive treatment or surgery. Dr. Campbell derives a great deal of satisfaction working with his patients as they choose from the various treatment options that best match their goal. Dr. Campbell is almost universally accepted in all the various MPN’s (including the recently updated SCIF/Harbor Health Systems) as well as Private Health Insurance carriers (including Brown & Toland). Dr. Campbell is also an Orthopedic Q.M.E. and has been recognized as AME on multiple occasions by firms such as Ratto, Hanna Brophy, Boxer & Gerson, Laughlin Falbo and others.  Practicing within the worker’s compensation arena for almost a decade has produced a keen understanding of the various issues surrounding AOE/COE, TTD, disability rating, apportionment, future medical care and the various other complexities of the med-legal evaluation process. Brycen Moore, PT, DPT

Dr. Brycen Moore is a Physical Therapist at IPM Sacramento. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Sonoma State University, and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The George Washington University. Throughout his education and training, he has consistently focused on learning the most effective and up-to-date strategies to address persistent pain. Brycen focuses on understanding patients experiences in order to work with them to set meaningful goals that will make a difference in daily life. He is passionate about helping patients understand pain and the human body, helping them turn that knowledge into meaningful action, and seeing patients return to the activities that are important to them. In his free time, Brycen can usually be found reading, drinking coffee, hiking, rock climbing, or spending time with his wife and their two dogs, dachshunds named Theo and Herschell.


 

Christina Sanchez, NP

Christina Sanchez is a nurse practitioner who earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degrees at the University of Pennsylvania. She has 4 years of pain management experience and has a passion for treating this patient population. In her leisure time she enjoys exercising, dancing, watching movies, and spending time with her family.


 

Karen Cook, LMFT

I believe that therapy is a relationship. Taking the first steps can be scary, but also rewarding. Pursuing health and wholeness is one of the best investments you can make. I will walk with you through the process; guiding, nudging and encouraging you to discover what living your best life can look like. I take a relational approach, using a combination of therapeutic approaches that are tailored to the individual. I am interactive, empathetic and warm. I have a master’s degree from Chapman University in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage & Family Therapy. I have more than 20 years of experience working with adolescents and adults. I have successfully treated issues like depression, anxiety, grief/loss, trauma, and substance abuse.

I love the outdoors and believe that being in nature and making time to play is an important part of health and wholeness. I look forward to working with you!


 

Shawn Marie Reber, LMFT

Shawn Reber, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from California State University Long Beach in 1995, and her Master's in Counseling Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from the University of San Francisco in 2005. She has worked in a private practice setting providing therapy to individuals, families and children. Shawn also has an extensive history, spanning 10 years, overseeing programs for transitional age homeless foster youth. Most recently, she has provided individual and group therapy for clients diagnosed with severe mental illnesses using CBT and her primary modality. Shawn has a passion for serving others with compassion and unconditional positive regard, and believes in the healing power of authentic human connection.
