Jeff Jones, MD

Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He has provided quality care in private practice for pain management for over 16 years, restoring significant level of function, independence, and restoring quality of life to his patients. Dr. Jones interventional pain management treatments include facet injections, radiofrequency ablations, epidurals, sacroiliac joint injections, specialized nerve blocks, and RSD/CRP treatments. He offers the most comprehensive treatment options currently available including advanced pain therapies such as spinal cord stimulators, implantable pain pumps, and regenerative medicine. In addition, he also provides treatment for opioid dependence with Buprenorphine. While he takes satisfaction in providing the most current updated treatment options to his patience, he does enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, backpacking, windsurfing and skiing and his leisure time.


 

Kairav Shah, MD

Dr. Shah is a board-certified pain management specialist and received his medical degree from the Gujarat University, India and then completed master’s in public health from The University of Texas School of Public Health. He completed his residency from Columbia University’s Harlem Hospital Center where he served as a chief resident and subsequently, a fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine from the department of anesthesiology at the University of Washington School of Medicine, Seattle.

He has also actively been involved in research over the years and has numerous publications and presentations in national conferences. Dr. Shah serves as peer reviewer for multiple international journals.

Dr. Shah’s specializes in diagnosis and treatment of painful joint, tendon, ligament, muscle and peripheral nerve conditions, ultrasound guided musculoskeletal interventions, fluoroscopically (x-ray) guided spinal interventions, such as epidural injection, nerve blocks, sacroiliac joint injections, radiofrequency ablation, intrathecal pumps and spinal cord stimulator. Dr. Shah believes in taking a broad and interdisciplinary approach to treating his patients’ pain with primary goal to help improve a person’s function and quality of life. His passion is to make a positive difference in patients’ lives and being part of the team that helps patients return to normal functioning is the most satisfying experience in his life.

When he isn’t busy helping his patients, he enjoys playing tennis, soccer, biking and travelling.


 

An Luong, PT

An graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s University, Los Angeles in 2019 with a Doctorate in Physical therapy. An’s clinical experiences include Outpatient Orthopedics at Long Beach Veteran Affairs Hospital, Outpatient Pediatrics at Dynamic Therapies, Chronic Pain Management at IPM Paing Management Inc, and Inpatient Post-Op Rehab at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. In order to further his knowledge and help people achieve their potential, An also became a certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the NSCA. He also enjoys working in a collaborative team environment with a patient-centered approach. During his free time, An enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially if food is involved.


 

Caryn Ton

Dr. Caryn Ton is a board-certified pharmacist in California, Oregon, and Washington. She graduated from Pacific University in Hillsboro, Oregon, with Doctorate in Pharmacy. She completed her internship in Palliative Care at St. Peter Hospital in Washington. She worked with a team of physician, nurses and other pharmacists in managing chronic pain medications, side effect, and interactions.   She is working at IPM Medical Group in Modesto, California since July 2018. She enjoys the opportunity to engage in patient interaction and patient care. Outside of work, she enjoys naps and travel.


 

Elizabeth Murphy, RN

Elizabeth is a Registered Nurse and Certified Diabetes Educator who has worked in Pain Management for 14 years. She is currently working on becoming a Certified Pain Educator. She loves caring for her patients perioperatively who are having procedures and also see them for follow-ups after the procedures. She enjoys helping the patients become more productive in their lives while learning how to deal with their pain.

She is also an avid softball player and travels around the US playing in tournaments.


 

Jill Tiedeman, LMFT

Mrs. Jill Tiedeman received her undergraduate degree from University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA and graduated from National University with her master’s degree in 2010. Mrs. Tiedeman has been Licensed in the State of California since October 2018. She first began working with San Joaquin County Behavioral Health Services in the 24-hour Crisis Mental Health Clinic as a mental health clinician and psychiatric evaluator. She was there for over 5 years and then went to work with Children and Youth Services in an outpatient setting. Mrs. Tiedeman has received training in family therapy and has implemented those skills working with families and children. Mrs. Tiedeman also spent 5 years at St. Joseph’s Behavioral Health as a psychiatric evaluator. Mrs. Tiedeman has experience working with individuals providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and has had some training using the Dialectical Behavioral Therapy modality with clients. She is very interested in learning more about Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. In her spare time, Mrs. Tiedeman enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time traveling with her husband and daughter.


 

Laurie Hay, LMFT

Laurie received her undergraduate degree from CSU Northridge and graduated from CSU San Bernardino with her Masters degree. Ms. Hay has been Licensed in the State of California since January 2005. Ms. Hay joined the IPM team in June 2019 as our mental health provider in the Functional Restoration Program. Ms. Hay began working with Riverside County Department of Mental Health interacting with Community Care Licensing, Child Welfare and the Juvenile Justice systems and has provided mental health services for children and their families as well as numerous trainings for the County of Riverside. Ms. Hay relocated to the central California area in 2016, conducting psychosocial education groups, group therapy and individual counseling sessions with adults and children. Ms. Hay has had extensive training in ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) as well as training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Ms. Hay is bilingual in American Sign Language (ASL) and enjoys spending time with her husband, gardening, and enjoying nature. 


 

Sang Yoon, L.Ac

Sang Won Yoon has been a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine since 2004 (NCCAOM) and California licensed acupuncturist since 2005. He graduated with a Master in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Science in Oakland, CA. After passing his California board exam, he went to Shanghai, China for a post-graduate internship at Shu Guang TCM Hospital. Afterward, he went to Kyung Hee University Hospital, in Seoul, South Korea, where studied in the Oriental medicine wing of the hospital at the internal medicine, neuropsychiatry, rehabilitation medicine, and gynecology departments. Sang Won has traveled all around the world treating and educating people about acupuncture. I have a passion for Chinese Medicine and trying to help improve the lives of my patients.


 

Sarah Goozeé, Ph.D.

Sarah S. Goozeé, Ph.D. obtained her Masters’ degree and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on Health Psychology at Alliant International University in San Francisco. She has worked in community mental health clinics and a variety of medical facilities including large HMOs since 2002. Dr. Goozeé also worked in higher education for years as a Psychology Professor, and Dean of Academic Affairs. Since 2005, Dr. Goozeé has sat on the board of directors and is actively engaged in several non-profits that provide education and support to individuals living with chronic pain. Dr. Goozeé first joined IPM in 2012, now as the Program Director of the Functional Restoration Program she provides individual and group therapy utilizing CBT, ACT, MBSR, and CBT-I. She conducts psychological evaluations, psychoeducation on pain coping skills and mind-body relaxation skills. Dr. Goozeé also brings years of experience as a Nutritional Counselor to the functional restoration program where she provides dietary recommendations, helps participants achieve their nutritional goals, and incorporate a healthy diet into their lives.
