JienSup Kim, M.D. is ABPMR Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He graduated from Southwestern Adventist University with honors in Biology followed by graduating with a Master of Arts in Biology at Texas Christian University. Dr. Kim completed his medical training at Loma Linda University School of Medicine followed by a one-year internship at the University of Virginia Health and Science Center.

He completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Loma Linda University where he was distinguished with the Pride in Service Award. Following residency, he completed a one-year fellowship in interventional pain management.

Dr. Kim’s interests include spine pain, neuropathic pain, joint pain and Traumatic Brain Injury. He has a wealth of experience in non-surgical treatment of Industrial Injuries and orthopedic injuries and is very familiar with California Work Comp. As an Interventional Pain Physician he performs spinal and joint injections, denervation with radiofrequency ablation, treatment of sacroiliac joint dysfunction, implantation of neuromodulation devices such as spinal cord stimulators and peripheral nerve stimulators, implantation of posterior spinal spacers for spinal stenosis and denervation of the basivertebral nerve within the vertebral body.
