David Suarez, MD

Dr. David Suarez is a UCSF and Stanford-trained physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) physician. He is fellowship-trained in interventional spine, sports medicine, and regenerative medicine, and is board-certified by the American Board of PM&R.

He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, including sports and spine injuries, using the latest ultrasound technology, interventional procedures, and advanced regenerative medicine and orthobiologic practices, such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections, and bone marrow stem cell procedures. His philosophy is to use a multidisciplinary team approach to diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries and dysfunction.

Dr. Suarez is a fluent and native Spanish-speaker who has called the Bay Area home for the last three decades. He was Chief Resident at Stanford and participated in multiple research and community projects at UCSF. In his free time, he enjoys taking advantage of all the cultural and outdoor activities the Bay Area has to offer with his family.


 

Sabrina Oukil, MD

Sabrina Oukil, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine specialist. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University of California Los Angeles and her medical degree from the University of California San Diego. She then completed her residency in anesthesiology at the University of California Irvine followed by a pain medicine fellowship at the University of Maryland. Dr. Oukil is very active in the advancement of pain medicine on the national level, holds several national and state committee memberships, and served as faculty at the ASRA Pain Medicine national meeting. She specializes in multiple aspects of pain management, including spinal injections, joint and nerve injections, musculoskeletal pain, neuropathic pain, spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, regenerative medicine, musculoskeletal ultrasound and integrative pain medicine. Dr. Oukil strives to educate and empower her patients to become active participants in their pain recovery journey. She is committed to helping her patients maintain a fulfilling and active lifestyle, and will partner with her patients to determine the best treatment approaches to meet their goals. Dr. Oukil was raised in southern California and now lives in the bay area with her husband and children.
