Dr. Nasseri is a Neurologist, subspecialized and fellowship-trained in Interventional Pain management. Since early stages of practice, he has been involved in cutting-edge research and advanced, modern-age approaches for investigating underlying causes of chronic pain and identifying efficient and sustainable solution for these chronic, debilitating conditions.
Dr. Nasseri obtained his medical degree from Oregon Health and Science University, in Portland, Oregon. He then pursued training in Neurosurgery and Neuro-Oncology before he joined the department of Neurology at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, to complete his residency training in Neurology. Subsequently, he completed his subspecialty training in Interventional Pain Medicine, in the department of Anesthesiology at Wayne State University, before he joined Boomerang Healthcare.
Regarded as one of the rapidly growing experts in his field, Dr. Nasseri educates and lectures on various aspects of the evolving field of interventional pain medicine at local, regional, and national levels. His expertise is sought after in the field of spinal cord stimulation, Neuromodulation, as well as minimally invasive approaches for treatment of chronic painful conditions.
Dr. Nasseri’s special interest is in neuromodulation and regenerative medicine, including stem cell studies. He serves as a consultant and faculty for various leading medical companies, placing him in the forefront of the advancements in technologies in interventional pain medicine. He and his team are heavily involved in conducting research studies, with the aspiration of reaching new horizons in advancing his field.
