JienSup Kim, M.D. is ABPMR Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He graduated from Southwestern Adventist University with honors in Biology followed by graduating with a Master of Arts in Biology at Texas Christian University. Dr. Kim completed his medical training at Loma Linda University School of Medicine followed by a one-year internship at the University of Virginia Health and Science Center.

He completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Loma Linda University where he was distinguished with the Pride in Service Award. Following residency, he completed a one-year fellowship in interventional pain management.

Dr. Kim served as both an attending physician and clinical professor at Loma Linda University educating his peers and future medical providers in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He remains a visiting clinical professor at Loma Linda University to this day

Dr. Kim’s interests include neuropathic pain, back and neck pain, joint pain, headaches, fibromyalgia pain, abdominal pain, non-surgical management and rehabilitation of orthopedic issues and industrial injuries, and general debility. He is an expert in interventional pain techniques such as radiofrequency ablation, epidural steroid injections, selective nerve blocks, Botox administration, neuromodulation, and joint injections.
