Dr. Li is a board certified, Harvard-trained anesthesiologist and Stanford-trained interventional Pain Medicine specialist. He has completed Anesthesiology residency from Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School and fellowship in Multidisciplinary Pain Management at Stanford University School of Medicine. Prior to the specialty training, he graduated from Peking Union Medical College in Beijing, China, one of the most prestigious medical schools in China. Dr. Li received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Florida for his study in neuropharmacology of Aging and metabolic disorders.
Dr. Li specializes in the treatment of back and neck pain, facial pain, headaches, myofascial pain syndromes, neuropathic pain, persistent abdominal and/or pelvic pain, complex regional pain syndrome, cancer pain, and post-surgical pain.
Amar Anand M.D. is a Neurologist specializing in Headache, Concussion, Stroke and Neuroimaging. He spent his childhood in the Bay Area, attending St. Mary's College of California and St. George's University for his premedical training, and received his medical degree from St. George's University. Subsequently, he completed his Neurology residency training at the University of South Carolina/Palmetto Health.
After residency training Dr. Anand completed a Neuroimaging Fellowship at the Dent Neurologic Institute in Buffalo, New York and simultaneously underwent training in Headache and Concussion medicine. During his fellowship Dr. Anand became proficient in neuroimaging modalities utilized in diagnosing and managing patients with traumatic brain injury. Dr. Anand’s offices have also incorporated MedTrak testing facilities where highly specialized diagnostic testing is performed to evaluate for various vestibular and CNS pathology seen in patients with traumatic brain injury.
Dr. Anand has also spent several years working in an interventional pain practice with his father Arun Anand M.D. in Benicia where he managed patients with chronic pain and performed interventional spine procedures while also treating their comorbid general neurologic disorders.
In addition to his vast interests and passions, Dr. Anand takes the most pride in being able to return home to the Bay Area and use his multidisciplinary training to serve his community.
Dr. Molly Massih graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science with major in Biology and minor in Chemistry. She then traveled abroad and obtained her medical degree from American University in Plymouth, Montserrat. She went on to perform her clinical training in London, England and Los Angeles, California. Dr. Massih has been a Clinical Research Assistant in the Department of Psychiatry at Stanford University. Her internship was at the Medical University of South Carolina in the combined fields of Internal Medicine, Neurology and Psychiatry. She performed her residency at UCLA/WLAVA in Los Angeles. During her residency she also participated in a research study with Spinal Cord Injury patients and their chronic, long term problems. As a physiatrist and special interest in pain management, she ensures that psychological, social and behavioral factors are not ignored. Dr. Massih is currently board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is a Qualified Medical Evaluator. She specifically concentrates on treating spine conditions and musculoskeletal and sport injuries. Her practice also includes electrodiagnostic studies such as EMG and NCS in relation to spine injuries or sport injuries involving major joints, muscles and nerves in the body. She belongs to the California Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Iranian Medical Association, and American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Massih is fluent in Farsi.
Dr. Stephen John Franzino is a double board-certified, Sports Medicine fellowship trained Orthopaedic surgeon with twenty-four years of Orthopaedic surgical experience. He has continually provided patients with advanced, state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment services for a wide range of Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic conditions
Dr. Franzino graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Southern California. He then attended and earned a medical degree from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine.
He was honored with highest distinction in his graduating class and selected for membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society as well as being a Dean Scholar for all four years. Dr. Franzino then completed an Orthopaedic internship and residency training at the Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center.
Dedicated to furthering his knowledge and training of Sports Medicine, Dr. Franzino also completed an additional one-year fellowship in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation. During his fellowship year, Dr. Franzino provided Orthopaedic coverage and treatment for the San Francisco Giants (MLB), Oakland Raiders (NFL), San Jose Sharks (NHL), San Jose Sabercats (AFL), USA National Rugby Team and the College of San Mateo.
