Carolina has worked in the healthcare industry for the past 25 years in various roles, including as a clinical social worker in oncology at City of Hope and the Simms/Mann UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology. Her expertise encompasses alcohol and drug addiction, as well as general mental health disorders that impact a person’s functioning and quality of life. Additionally, she has served as a clinical nurse in oncology, clinical research, neuroscience, palliative care, and hospice.
Carolina earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California and obtained her nursing license from Samuel Merritt University.
She believes that her experiences as both a social worker and a nurse have highlighted the importance of balancing the needs of the mind and body to achieve overall wellness and happiness. Her goal is to help clients attain optimal physical and mental health so they can reach their full potential.
