My name is Roza Javeri. I am originally from Iran and speak Farsi. I have a bachelor’s degree in art in English and linguistics. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. I am also an AANP-certified family nurse practitioner. I worked as a home healthcare nurse in Philadelphia at preferred home health care for a year. I took care of patients who needed various medical procedures. I’ve been a school nurse for Fresno Unified School District since 2019. My job description included being the first responder in an emergency, administering medication and procedures at school such as managing type I diabetes, and working closely with family and healthcare providers to develop a medical plan to keep students safe at school. I enjoy the service that I have been providing to the FUSD community, but at this point in my life, I am confident that I am capable of utilizing the prior clinical knowledge that I received in my FNP degree and providing the service to the Boomerang Healthcare patients.
