Crystal Kim is a new graduate Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. She was born and raised in Fresno, CA but moved to southern California as she started college at UCI. Crystal graduated with a Bachelors in Nursing Science and quickly found a job working as a telemetry nurse at the hospital. She loved working with cardiac patients and eventually found her way to the cardiovascular observation unit where she worked closely with cardiologists pre- and post- cardiovascular procedures. Crystal knew she wanted to elevate her education and decided to go back to school to become a Nurse Practitioner. Crystal completed her education at UCLA. Crystal’s extensive work with geriatric patients and long lists of chronic illnesses, including chronic pain, has given her the desire to work close with patients to help them achieve a better quality of life while managing their pain symptoms. Crystal is excited to start this new chapter of her life, and hopes to make an impact while working together with the team and with patients.
