Athena Tuot is a Nurse Practitioner that was born and raised in Loma Linda, CA. She is a graduate of Loma Linda University with both a Bachelors in Nursing Science as well as a Doctorate of Nursing Practice with AANP board certification as a family nurse practitioner. She has a nursing background in both adult critical care (medical ICU) and urgent care, which has allowed her to gain valuable skills in both inpatient and outpatient settings – caring for extremely critical patients as well as ambulatory patients of all ages in the community presenting with a variety of acute and chronic concerns. Since graduating with her advanced nursing degree, Athena has worked at a medical weight loss center as a nurse practitioner, helping patients to feel their best physically and promoting a healthy lifestyle. She is excited to now be joining IPM and transition into pain management to help improve the quality of life of chronic pain patients in the community while providing compassionate care.
