Dr. Sarah Goozeé is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Vice President at Boomerang Healthcare, with over 20 years of experience in behavioral health integration and chronic pain treatment. She specializes in the psychological factors that affect recovery, disability, and return to work outcomes.
Dr. Goozeé holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s degree in Health Psychology from Alliant International University. She completed her postdoctoral residency in a Functional Restoration Program, providing interdisciplinary care to individuals with chronic pain and complex medical conditions.
She has deep expertise in California’s workers’ compensation system, having worked with hundreds of injured workers to address psychological claims, delayed recovery, and functional restoration using cognitive-behavioral and trauma-informed approaches.
As Vice President, she led the launch of Boomerang’s statewide, telehealth-based Psychology Department and oversees its growing team of licensed mental health professionals. She also directs Boomerang’s clinical research division and has presented nationally on pain psychology, return-to-work, and interdisciplinary care.
A former professor and Dean of Academics, Dr. Goozeé remains committed to advancing behavioral healthcare through innovation, collaboration, and education.
