Jared Domaguing, mostly known as JD, is a Nurse Practitioner at Boomerang’s Walnut Creek and Brentwood locations. He was born and raised in the Bay Area and his journey of becoming a Nurse Practitioner began at Samuel Merritt University. He graduated from Samuel Merritt University with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in December of 2019. After that, he worked as a Registered Nurse on an Orthopedic unit, while also doing COVID testing and administering COVID vaccinations. In August of 2020, JD returned back to school at Samuel Merritt University as a student of their Doctor of Nursing Practice-Family Nurse Practitioner (DNP-FNP) program and later graduated in August of 2023.
Growing up, JD was heavily active in sports, dealing with personal injuries or witnessing others, and that has ultimately led to his overall interest and passion in providing competent, patient-centered care to Orthopedic and Pain Management patients here at Boomerang. The ability to help relieve pain and restore function as much as possible in Boomerang’s patient population is something that he genuinely looks forward to.
In his free time, JD likes to stay active by either working out, playing basketball, and boxing as well. If he is not playing basketball himself, he is most likely coaching. And if he’s not doing any of the activities mentioned above, he is enjoying his down time with family and friends.
