As a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse transitioning into my new role as a New Grad Nurse Practitioner (NP), I bring 7 years of experience in providing high-quality healthcare services to patients in Correctional Setting. I am committed to delivering patient-centered care that prioritizes empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practice.
My journey in healthcare began with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Roseman University of Health Sciences, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner from Eastern Kentucky University.
In my previous roles, I have demonstrated proficiency in conducting comprehensive assessments, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, and educating patients on preventative care and treatment plans. I have a proven track record of building trusting relationships with patients, advocating for their needs, and coordinating care across multidisciplinary teams.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, listening to EDM music, attending EDM concerts and comedy shows with my husband, and traveling locally and internationally. I am committed to lifelong learning and staying updated on the latest advancements in healthcare to deliver the best possible outcomes for my patients.
