Emily Coffee graduated from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, as well as completing graduate level coursework in Art Therapy. Since graduation, she has been utilizing psychotherapy and art psychotherapy with adolescents, families, and young adults to help process their experiences and learn more about themselves. Emily is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is dedicated to lending support to clients while they work towards recognizing themselves as an ever-evolving individual with the strength to manage life’s challenges. Emily’s skill set is working with individual’s presenting with anxiety, depression, trauma, and neurodivergent populations.  When working with clients, Emily utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, art therapy, and mindfulness practices to find the right tools for each individual. Emily’s empathetic nature and flexibility within her approach allows for collaboration with clients to guide them through various mental health challenges, which focuses treatment on understanding their nature, setting goals, and identifying tools to manage and empower clients to make informed decision about their mental health.

Emily enjoys a variety of self-care activity such as gardening, walking her dogs, going for a bike ride, camping, traveling, or spending time with her family and friends while she is not working.
