Boomerang Healthcare is proud to announce, Dr. Manoj Poudel, our newest physician in Hayward, California. Dr. Poudel brings a wealth of knowledge and experience including advanced training in physical medicine, and sports medicine, and takes a special interest in musculoskeletal injuries, regenerative medicine, and ultrasound-guided procedures. In Nepal, he received a full scholarship to study medicine. Before moving to the US, he worked as a medical professor. Upon completion of his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Health, Dr. Poudel completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at UC Davis Health.
In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Poudel was a competitive soccer player throughout high school, college, and in universities and municipalities. He enjoys sports and gym activities and practices what he preaches to his patients.
Internationally, Dr. Poudel’s accomplishments are also lauded. As he is the cofounder of the Nepalese Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is the Founder Chair of the trainee and early career physicians of his specialty at the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM). Dr. Poudel has delivered lectures/talks nationally and internationally including in Japan, France, Portugal, the Philippines, West Indies, and Nepal.
