Wenting (Karen) Zhao is a California Licensed Acupuncturist and holds master’s degrees from University of East-West Medicine and DePaul University. Upon graduation, she then shadowed a leading orthopedic TCM doctor and worked in acupuncture clinics treating patients with chronic or acute conditions using a variety of Chinese medicine modalities.
She is passionate about stress and pain management and is dedicated to helping patients who are seeking alternative medicine approaches to achieve a better quality of life. She believes true healing begins with awareness and has developed a holistic approach to pain management that treats specific areas of pain as well as the whole person intrinsically. With her compassionate nature, knowledge and experience, she provides comprehensive and effective solutions for patients while creating a warm and supportive environment.
She is fluent in both Mandarin and English. Outside of medicine, she enjoys cooking, dancing, travelling and playing with her two children.
